العدل

Justice ('Adl)

5 versículos del Corán
#01
«O you who believe, be persistently standing firm for Allah, witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just (أَلَّا تَعْدِلُوا). Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. Justice is named as something that must persist *even against* hatred. Tribal logic would say the opposite.»
Sahih International)
O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.
#02
«O you who believe, be persistently standing firm for Allah, witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. And establish justice; that is nearer to righteousness. The repetition reinforces: justice is the named, repeated command.»
Sahih International)
O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm for Allah, witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.

«We have already sent Our messengers with clear proofs and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance (الْمِيزَانَ) that mankind may maintain [their affairs]. The 'balance' is named as something sent down with messengers — a tool, not just a concept.»
Sahih International)
We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice. And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allah may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.

«And We will place the scales of justice (مَوَازِينَ الْقِسْطِ) on the Day of Resurrection; no soul will be wronged in anything. The Day of Judgment has named scales — physical, real, not metaphorical.»
Sahih International)
And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be treated unjustly at all. And if there is [even] the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as accountant.
#05
«Say, 'My Lord has commanded justice (الْقِسْطَ).' The verb is direct — 'command' (أَمَرَ), not 'suggested' or 'recommended.'»
Sahih International)
Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord has ordered justice and that you maintain yourselves [in worship of Him] at every place [or time] of prostration, and invoke Him, sincere to Him in religion." Just as He originated you, you will return [to life] -
