#01
«Every soul will taste death, and you will be paid in full only on the Day of Resurrection. The 'tasting' is a specific metaphor, and the deferred full payment is named.»
العربيّة
كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۗ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ۖ فَمَن زُحْزِحَ عَنِ ٱلنَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ ۗ وَمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَآ إِلَّا مَتَٰعُ ٱلْغُرُورِ
الإنجليزيّة (ترجمة Sahih International)
Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.

«Every soul will taste death; then to Us will you be returned. The return is to Allah specifically — not to a vague cosmic nothing.»
العربيّة
كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ

Every soul will taste death. Then to Us will you be returned.

«Every soul will taste death. We test you with evil and good as a trial; and to Us you will be returned. The two-sided test (evil + good) is named as the trial mechanism.»

كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۗ وَنَبْلُوكُم بِٱلشَّرِّ وَٱلْخَيْرِ فِتْنَةًۭ ۖ وَإِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ

Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned.

«Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that have not died, He takes during their sleep. Sleep is named as a partial death — specific categorization.»
العربيّة
ٱللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلْأَنفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِهَا وَٱلَّتِى لَمْ تَمُتْ فِى مَنَامِهَا ۖ فَيُمْسِكُ ٱلَّتِى قَضَىٰ عَلَيْهَا ٱلْمَوْتَ وَيُرْسِلُ ٱلْأُخْرَىٰٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ مُّسَمًّى ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that do not die [He takes] during their sleep. Then He keeps those for which He has decreed death and releases the others for a specified term. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

«Say: the angel of death, who has been entrusted with you, will take you; then to your Lord you will be returned. A specific named angel, a specific task.»
العربيّة
۞ قُلْ يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم مَّلَكُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ٱلَّذِى وُكِّلَ بِكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ

Say, "The angel of death will take you who has been entrusted with you. Then to your Lord you will be returned."

«And the intoxication of death will bring the truth — that is what you were trying to avoid. The 'intoxication' is the specific moment of the dying's last perceptual shift.»
العربيّة
وَجَآءَتْ سَكْرَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنْهُ تَحِيدُ

And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid.

«When the soul reaches the collarbones (التَّرَاقِي), and it will be said, 'who is a magician to restore it?' The physical location of the dying soul is given — the collarbones, the moment it ascends. A specific, observable threshold.»
